As part of the country’s privatization program, 100% of the shares of “Saratel Iran Construction and Installation Company” were transferred. This company, established in 1977 is fully owned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and is active in the fields of design, supervision, consulting services, and execution of all civil construction and facility maintenance projects.

The Privatization Organization of Iran, after publishing two public auction notices in widely circulated newspapers on 20 December 2023 and 27 August 2023 (29/09/1402 and 06/10/1402 in the Iranian calendar), offered 100% of the company’s shares at a base price of 368,575,005,000 IRR. The payment terms included a 50% upfront payment and the remaining amount payable in installments over two years, with semiannual payments and an annual interest rate of 23%.

The shares were offered in accordance with the Executive Guidelines for the Selection of Strategic Clients and the Evaluation of Managerial Qualifications. Based on this, the eligibility of the only applicant participating in the auction was assessed during a meeting of the General and Technical Qualification Review Committee. According to regulations, after the applicant’s qualifications were confirmed, the bid envelope was opened by the Auction Commission. Ultimately, “Pars Ayandeh Urban Development Investment Company” was declared the winner of the auction by offering the base price.

According to the auction terms, the buyer must pay the upfront portion and submit all required documents within 20 working days from the auction date to finalize the transaction and sign the contract.
