We show you the path to success
Project Capacity:
3,461,600 tons per yearYear of Launch:
1403Progress Percentage:
100%This project is designed to increase production capacity and improve the quality of petrochemical products in the northern region of the country. Given the strategic location of the complex—close to gas resources and with access to open waters—comprehensive planning has been undertaken for the development of new units.
Main Components of the Plan:
Construction of an olefin unit with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons of ethylene and propylene as primary feedstock for downstream industries; development of polymer units including polyethylene and polypropylene production lines with various grades; and modernization of existing units to improve energy efficiency are among the key components of this project.
Competitive Advantages:
Access to regional gas resources
Export capability through northern ports
Use of cutting-edge technologies in unit design
Environmental Measures:
Installation of advanced wastewater treatment systems
Recycling and reuse of chemical solvents
Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through process optimization
Implementation Timeline:
Phase one includes feasibility studies and basic design over a period of 18 months; phase two involves construction and installation of main equipment over 36 months; and phase three entails gradual commissioning and operation.
Economic Impacts:
Direct employment for 1,200 individuals
Increased value-added within the country’s petrochemical chain
Reduction in imports of polymer products
This project is being carried out with the collaboration of domestic companies and international consultants, and is expected to play a significant role in the industrial development of the region.
